(no subject)

 If not for the fact that I am terrible at keeping in touch with friends and family, I would delete my Facebook account.  I have always preferred Livejournal for social networking.  The "blogging" nature of this site requires more thought and effort to communicate with others.  With Facebook, I feel lazy and am far too easy to find.  I have a hundred "friends" I could do without, but don't have the heart to exclude them from my "friendship."  

That's part of the reason I have resumed writing here...  I like being somewhat anonymous, but still "social."  And, I miss writing - which I have not done in years.   

I miss the old days of Livejournal.  Aside from a few regulars, it seems to be a bit of a ghost community.
