I have vivid memories of mom and pop bringing you home. it's funny that i could have such pictures of movement and sound in my mind from 27 years ago, archived in my own infancy. you're the most solid part of my life, thorn and always have been... i know that i haven't always shown that. i've had a lot of growing up to do in this life, and i think i've come a long way. my only hope is that we have many years ahead of us and i will continue to have the opportunity to grow as your brother.
you amaze me with your wisdom and wit. you challenge me with your intellect and insightfulness. you have always broadened my appreciation for individuality and i owe so much of who i am to you. happy birthday, brother... i love you.
